We keep things simple and only collect what we need to run SchoolRelay: your email address for your account, an optional display name, school logos you upload, and the info you post for your school groups, like announcements, events, and links.
We use this info to run your school page and keep your account secure. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't track what you do for behavioral profiling. We provide anonymized engagement analytics (such as page view counts and email open rates) to school administrators to help them understand how their community uses the platform. This is a tool for schools, not a data-mining project.
Your account and school content are stored with Supabase, our database and file storage provider. SchoolRelay is hosted on Cloudflare. We don't run third-party analytics or ad trackers on the product.
We don't sell your personal information or share it with advertisers. Anything you publish to a public campus or group page is public by design, so anyone with the link can see it. We only disclose info if we are legally required to do so.
SchoolRelay accounts are for adult administrators, parents, and school staff. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Campus admins are responsible for ensuring that any content they publish on their group pages complies with applicable laws regarding student and minor privacy, including FERPA and COPPA where relevant.
Your school info stays on the site as long as you want it there. If you delete your school from the dashboard, that content is removed. If you want your whole account deleted, email us at [email protected] from the address you used to sign up.
We only use the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in to your account. We don't use marketing or tracking cookies.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under this policy will be resolved in the courts located in Florida.
This privacy policy is part of our legal framework alongside our Terms of Service. Together they govern your use of SchoolRelay.
