1. Working together

By using SchoolRelay, you're agreeing to these terms. They help us keep the service running smoothly and safely for all school groups. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

2. Your account

Please use accurate information when you sign up. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens on the school pages you manage. We build this for real people helping real schools.

3. Being a good neighbor

SchoolRelay is for school communication. Please don't use it for anything illegal, abusive, or spammy. We reserve the right to remove content or groups that don't follow these community standards.

4. Your content

You own the photos and info you post. By putting them on SchoolRelay, you give us permission to host and display them so your school community can see them. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you publish complies with applicable laws, including those related to student and minor privacy.

If you believe content on SchoolRelay infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please send a written notice to [email protected] with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (2) identification of the infringing material and its location on the platform; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf. We will respond to valid notices promptly.

5. Service availability

We do our best to keep things running, but SchoolRelay is provided "as is." We can't guarantee it will always be error-free or 100% available, but we'll do our best.

6. Respecting the rules

If someone is misusing the service or creating risks for others, we may suspend their access or remove their content. We do this to keep the community safe.

7. Liability

We are a small team providing a utility for schools. To the extent allowed by law, SchoolRelay is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages that arise from your use of the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Florida.

9. Updates to these terms

As we grow and add features, we may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you agree to the new version.
